Weekly Update & Encouraging Words

“I’m telling you these things while I’m still living with you. The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught. (John 14:25-27 The Message).

We were so blessed to have Pastors Rocky & Bobbie Larocco from Word of Truth minister in our services this past Sunday. It was such an awesome word and we plan to “go another way” when God speaks! Thank you Word of Truth congregation for sharing your ministers with us!

Happy New Year & Weekly Update

Aloha & Hau’oli Makahiki Hou! We have had such an amazing new year already so far and we are so anticipating the “more” Jesus has for us this year!! As I was reading the other day in Luke rediscovering the birth of Christ verse 19 burned in my spirit, “But Mary was keeping within herself all these things (sayings), weighing and pondering them in her heart.” (Amplified Bible). NLT version says, “but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.”

Ponder according to the World Dictionary means, “to consider something deeply and thoroughly; meditate, deep consideration.” As I was thinking about this verse I thought about how I process things in my life at times. Sometimes when things are pressing me I like to call my friend or talk with my hubby and “hash” it out loud talking it over and trying to make sense of things. Working in an occupation that requires counseling and having had counseling myself after the death of our daughter I know this can be a healthy way to go about “working things out”. However, it really burned in my heart when I read this making me wonder, “How often do I just go and “work things out” with another individual when maybe I should be pondering things in my heart allowing the Holy Spirit & Father God help me through these situations.”

I bring this up because I feel that this is a new year to do things differently, allowing the best “Counselor” bring freedom, ultimately drawing us closer to Him. When we draw close to Him we become aware of His presence , because when God’s presence is near, circumstances are changed, love is revealed, joy is released, freedom is given, and our lives are touched forever. Let’s start this new year out “pondering” the circumstances that we are faced with this year and press into His heartbeat allowing His plans to be fulfilled in 2012!

The New Year is here and we have a lot of great things in store for 2012!

Weekly Updates from AMP

T’is the season to be jolly, falalalalala…. I am sure all of you have heard this tune at least once if not a thousand times already!  Yes, this season is one of joy and celebration as we thank our Father for sending His beautiful Son Jesus to save us and bring us back to the proper place seated in Heavenly places with Him.

We do know that Jesus’ was not actually born on December 25, but it is a time that we observe that He came into the world as a baby to bring us freedom releasing us into our full identity as Sons & Daughters of the most High!   As we celebrate it can bring times of joy and making new memories, it can also be a time of sadness for those who might have bad memories during this season or who have suffered the loss of a loved one.  I fall in the category of losing a child, every year we get out the Christmas tree with the family, being thankful for the new memories we are able to create but still have the pain of not having Arianna here with us to celebrate.  I really felt that some of you might be having a hard time this Christmas season due to some sort of loss, but wanted to encourage you to really lean into the arms of a loving God who brings comfort and healing in all areas of our lives.  It is only in His arms that we can find true joy and peace as we gaze into His eyes and He looks back with that confident look as if to say, “I make all things new and good things will come.”

While I was praying the other day I heard “Ps. 27:5,” so I looked it up. ”For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.”

As I was pondering this verse I had a vision. I saw a bunch of believers in a building and the building began to collapse, there was such a loud crashing and shaking going on but when the dust settled all around was a mess but the believers were all safe on top of the rock looking around and no harm had come to us.

It is the time of hiding ourselves in His sanctuary so that when troubles come, He can place us out of the reach of the enemy in the High places with Him.

John 1:4, 5 says, “The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”

Darkness can never extinguish the Light that lives inside of us!  That is such great news and definitely a reason to be joyful and celebrate the Light (Jesus) this Christmas season.

Thank you for all your support during 2011. With your support we were able to minister in various parts of Hawaii, Philippines, & several States. We would love to encourage you to give and sow into the ministry as we are coming to the end of 2011. All gifts are tax-deductable.

Weekly Updates & Encouraging Words

Good Morning (or afternoon/evening depending on where you are located)!

We have had such a spectacular weekend, we started off Saturday morning with a workday and was able to get a lot accomplished!  Thank you so much for all of you that were able to come & participate & for all of you who have come at other times helping to renovate & get our building in order.  Then we had another amazing Celebration Service that evening and the presence of God was so sweet, at one point many of the children were even on their knees & faces before Him during worship.  He is so good and His love never fails.  He continues to bring hope, healing, peace, and shower us with His goodness.

I was re-listening to a podcast by Bethel Church entitled “Transition means progress,” and as I was listening I was thinking about all the progress happening in Maui, Hawaii, & the world.  It is so exciting as His love & revelation is continuing to be poured out upon us and people who have never experienced or known the love of the Father are coming into a relationship with Him!

We are coming near our 11.11.11 “Awaken the Watchmen” conference and we know it is just another transitional & pivotal season for this moment. We are also going to be able to participate in the Global Day of Worship that is being broadcast throughout the globe throughout the day.  We are representing the Hawaii standard time zone and so honored to be a part of this.  We will let you know the stations & websites it will be airing on so that you can participate with us as well if you are not here in Hawaii with us.

So we are wanting to get as much work done as possible on the remodeling of our building so if you could come and donate some of your time and skills this week we would greatly appreciate it!  We will be working on Wednesday & Thursday evening from 6-9.  Thank you again to all of you who have already put in a lot of time & effort!!  We love you!

If you are not in Maui and cannot participate physically, there is still a lot of building materials that need to be purchased and we would love your financial support to finish this project out!  You can go visit our website and donate online ampchurch.org.
Hope you have a fabulous week!

~Michelle
